why slower mail?

slower mail is about embracing the slow and refusing to put productivity on a pedestal. we’ve lost the art of anticipation; we’ve forgotten the joy of waiting. convenience culture robbed us of physical media—we’re bringing it back.
how does it work?

each month we send our words and wisdom in an envelope alongside treasures we collect and/or create. simply sign up before the 20th to receive the current month’s mail. for example: if you subscribe on the 15th of november, we will send you our november issue. however, signing up after the 20th means you receive the following months mail. for example: if you subscribe on the 22nd of november, we will send you our december issue.
when will I receive my mail?

mail is sent on the 20th of each month in a stamped envelope. because there is no way to track envelopes—we sadly cannot predict exactly when your mail will arrive. estimated delivery times are 2-3 weeks within new zealand and 4-5 weeks internationally. if your mail hasn’t arrived within the above timeframes, or if it arrives damaged, please contact us at mailbutslower@gmail.com and we’ll do our best to assist you.

when will I be billed each month?

slower mail is billed monthly on the same date you signed up. for example, if you join on april 11th, you’ll be billed on the 11th of every month following. you can pause or cancel anytime, just make sure to do so before your next billing date to avoid being charged.
how do I manage my subscription?

you can cancel your slower mail subscription anytime. log into your account in the top right corner with the same details you signed up with, navigate to your subscriptions, and press cancel subscription. alternatively, you can pause your subscription to take a break without losing your spot. reach out if you have questions or need help
can I change / update my address?

you can update your delivery address anytime by emailing us directly at mailbutslower@gmail.com or submitting a request through the help page at the top left hand corner of our website.
